About EcoNest

A small project built to cut through the scroll.

EcoNest is a set of free, no-account tools that turn a crowded shopping category into a short, honest list โ€” gifts, travel, home, elderly care, sport, tech, food and sustainable living, with more on the way.

How it started

EcoNest started from an ordinary problem: twenty open tabs, a dozen conflicting "best of" articles, and still no real answer to "which one should I actually buy?" Most shopping-guide sites solve that by publishing more articles, not fewer โ€” longer lists, more affiliate links, the same handful of products reshuffled under a new headline. EcoNest takes the opposite approach: ask a few honest questions, then hand back a short list that was actually picked, not scraped from whatever's trending.

Who's behind it

EcoNest is run independently from the UK by Nidhi, alongside other small, practical projects โ€” it isn't a large publisher or a marketplace, and it doesn't claim to be. Each category is built by hand: researched, written and checked before it goes live, then revisited periodically so prices, links and advice don't go stale. If something feels off anywhere on the site, the quickest way to reach us is the contact link at the bottom of this page.

How we decide what goes on the site

Every idea on EcoNest has to clear the same bar before it's added to a category:

How EcoNest makes money

EcoNest doesn't sell anything itself and doesn't run ads from retailers for placement. The site earns a small commission when someone buys something through a link here, at no extra cost to the buyer โ€” that's what keeps the tools free and account-free. Full detail on that is in our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service; the short version sits in the affiliate disclosure in the footer of every page.
